Thursday - rainy…with some wet snow.

I had a good day today. It was mostly quiet, but that’s okay. I need a little peace and quiet now and then.

I stayed home and wrapped presents for most of the day. It was crazy. Still, I think I got them all. At least the ones that I had already bought. Fingers crossed. The box that F bought for me yesterday to mail them all in is almost full, but the box is a bit too big. Still, he kept asking me on the phone what size to buy…how was I supposed to know?

While I wrapped presents I watched my usual Thursday telly and then put on Machete. I had taped it last night, so I watched it today. It was bad, but one of those films that was highly watchable. There were a lot of famous and infamous people in the cast, it was rather unbelievable. It had people like Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, Don Johnson, Steven Seagal and even Robert DeNiro. I would never have thought all those people would be in the same film. Very violent though.

F came home a little late today, but not too bad. We had each received postcards today, although his was just a blank card in an envelope. He was really disappointed not to have any sort of personalised note from the sender. I’ve been there, I get what he means.

I prepped dinner tonight which was a nabe. We bought a kit last night at the grocery store. It was good, but I was starving before dinner and was still very hungry after dinner. We went to the grocery store and bought more food. It usually isn’t me that gets that hungry, but I really needed more tonight.

In the evening I watched Drop Dead Diva, and then Episodes. The show and even Matt LeBlanc have really grown on me. He was always my least favourite Friend, but he’s quite funny here. He sends up his persona rather well.

And that’s about it. Tomorrow we are forecast to have snow, and I’m hoping that F will come home early enough to help me mail my boxes to Canada. Of course, they won’t be able to go the cheap way, but they will go at least! I hope EMS can get them to Canada before Christmas. Fingers crossed.

Got to go. Night!
