Wednesday - Sunny and warmish  Happy Pi Day!

A good day.  I got up this morning with a mission.  I had a few bad moments when I thought that the snow might stay on the road, but by the time I left the apartment this morning it had mostly gone.

I was up, dressed and out of the apartment by a little after 11.  I biked over to the theatre and went to see The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo again.  F and I had talked about seeing it again, but every time I suggested it he made an excuse. It was an early show so it was cheaper than usual.  I enjoyed it just as much this time, in fact I might have enjoyed it just a little bit more.  I like how some things are set up already for the next parts, if they go there.

After the movie, I hopped back on my bike and went to the mall.  It was a lovely warm day out and I enjoyed being out and about.  I was a tad hungry, so I went to Patio on the second floor and had lunch.  After that, I did a little shopping. I didn’t get too much, but I bought a few things.  I left the mall around 4:30 and was home before 5pm.

F came home at a reasonable time tonight but looked tired.  He immediately changed into his pyjamas, poor thing.  I reminded him I had to go out later on in the day, but he said it was okay. We were watching TV when I felt the room move.  I asked him if he thought we were having an earthquake, but he didn’t feel anything.  I checked, and sure enough, there was one over on the east side of the country.  There was a tsunami warning too.

I got dinner under way after 7 and it came together quickly. It was just a pork stirfry with lots of veggies, plus a chawanmushi each.  We had bought those last night.  It was quite nice.  F did the dishes afterwards, even though I offered.

We went over to my school and I set the heater.  F told me that he’d called the company that manages the building and told them about the broken tiles in the entry way.  Over the last couple of weeks, the tiles have come up and some have broken.  I don’t think it’s due to my snow removing efforts!

We came home via the grocery store to get a few things that we didn’t get yesterday.  We got some things for F’s breakfast and a few things for tonight.  F is a great one for going walkabout in the store, drives me crazy.

We came home and at 11 I headed to the couch to watch Private Practice.  It’s a glorified soap, but I like it.  It’s got JoBeth Williams in it right now, and I really like her a lot.  I did a couple of crochet rows too.  My afghan is looking really good.  It’s very cozy when I crochet now.

And that’s about my day.  It was quite good and I had a nice day. It was wonderful to be able to get out under my own power for a change.  Tomorrow I have an early class but I’ll likely come home afterwards. Night!
