Tuesday - Clear and sunny, cold

It snowed overnight so this morning there was about 5 cm out in the parking lot.  The good news is that it was very wet snow, it became slush quickly and in many places just vanished.  All day I was trying to decide if I should walk to work or ride.

I got up a bit late, was working on my computer when F came home.  Does this man never work?  He had dropped someone off somewhere and was waiting for them to finish before picking them up again.  I took a shower and when I came out again he had left.

I had a good morning.  For my brunch today I took leftovers from last night’s dinner, cut up the chicken and the tomatoes, then sauteed/heated them up.  Then, I made an eggy crepe and rolled the chicken and tomato mix up in it.  It was very good!  A binding element like a sauce would have been a nice edition, but overall I was quite pleased with myself.

I was watching Amazing Grace about William Wilberforce before I left for work. I was enjoying the movie, it had a lot of great younger British actors and a few older ones too.

I left for work, on my bicycle.  I wasn’t sure if I could make it, but once I got past our apartment building it was smooth riding more or less.  It was lovely to get to work so quickly.

At work I did a tiny amount of shovelling and then I went inside and got ready for my class.  Unfortunately, my student called and said that she didn’t think she could come today as she didn’t  have a vehicle.  Her car is a company car and someone else was using it. I told her I was at my school anyway and if she could come to please do so. Sadly, she never arrived, so I assume that her co-worker didn’t return the car in time.

F called me a little after 6 to say he was still stuck at work and didn’t know when he could finish.  I hung out at my school for a while.  A while turned into a long time and I was on the verge of leaving for home when he called and said he was finished.  It was after 8 pm.  Egads!

He picked me up and we had dinner in Cocos.  I tried their new pasta dish, the one with asparagus and bacon. It was nice, if a little small.

After dinner we hit up the grocery store for some food for the rest of the week.  I got a lot of staples and since we went to a grocery store we don’t usually go to, a few things I don’t usually get to buy.

We came home and had a quiet evening.  At 11 I watched Criminal Minds and did a couple of rows of my crochet.  My afghan is looking great.

That’s about it.  I watched the original Tron after Criminal Minds. It was fun to see it again, but I lost interest after a while.  I have to get to bed soon.  Tune in tomorrow to find out what kind of adventures I have! Night.
