Wednesday - Light rain
A good day.
I got up this morning and watched a bit of TV. It was quite a normal morning until my husband called and asked if I’d like to have lunch with him. I didn’t mind, so I got ready and when he came at 12:10 to pick me up, I was ready to go.
We went the Chinese place he likes. I had mabo-dofu on rice in a stone bowl and he had ramen of course! Mine was good but so hot. It wasn’t too spicy, it was bubbling with heat at first. I didn’t think I’d be able to eat it before F had to leave for work, but I managed, just!
F dropped me off at home and he went back to work. I came in and relaxed for a bit before starting on dinner prep. I got things ready, but F didn’t come home. Oh no! He phoned around 6 to say that he was still working, and would be for an hour or more. He didn’t come home until 7:30.
I got dinner underway while F had a lie down. He was so tired tonight. I stir-fried broccoli, then sautéed the chicken. I made a pot of tea and then cooked a kabocha croquette for each of us. I called him and he finally came. Dinner was quite nice. I really liked cooking at home again. I have been getting so tired of eating out every night. F did the dishes for us, which was sweet of him.
We had a quiet evening. F watched a bit of a soccer game before going to bed before midnight. I watched my TV shows, rather a lot of them as I’d missed some on the weekend.
Anyway, that was my day. It wasn’t too bad at all! Night.
