Tuesday - Sunny and warm
A good day. I got up a bit late to day. I’ve been playing with the settings on my cellphone and I can’t always hear the alarms as a result. Sigh.
I got up and had a quiet morning. F stopped by with some bagels, and I took a shower and had some brunch. When it was time for lunch, I made egg salad. I had hard cooked some eggs for F last night, so I made myself some too. It was nice to have something with protein but a little different for a change. I also had the egg salad in a tortilla, so it was quite different!
I got dressed and went over to my school. I mailed my postcard on the way too. Woot. At the school I parked my bike and then got ready for class. Sadly, my student cancelled. I didn’t hear the phone ring because of my aforementioned settings changing, but I called her back and she gave me the bad news. Sigh. I read the newspaper and worked on a project before calling F to come and pick me up. He did.
We came home tonight and I got started on cooking dinner right away. We had fried chicken, hash browns and a couple of kabocha croquettes with salad. F enjoyed the dinner. I did too for the most part, but worried about the fried factor.
F was tired so he did the dishes and then planned to take his bath quite early. However, I found Amelia on WOWOW and we both watched it. It was okay. I’m glad that we didn’t pay to see it in the theatre. I do wonder what happened to her. Did she fly into the Bermuda Triangle or crash and burn on a small island somewhere?
After Criminal Minds, I watched Medium for the first time in ages and quite enjoyed the show. F caught a bit of it too and laughed at it for a bit.
And, really, that was it. Tomorrow I have a Bookmooch to send out for the first time in ages and hopefully I’ll do another postcard or something. Wish me luck! Night.

Having lived on the island of Saipan for 30 years the subject of Amelia really intrigues me as it does many on the island! It's well known in the islands that there is an old Chamorro woman who gave testimony to seeing someone that fit Amelia's description on Saipan during 1944. Whoever the person was, if it was Amelia, had been captured by Japanese soldiers. We in Saipan have always found the story fascinating! You an do a Google about Amelia and Saipan to read some interesting stories!
Wow, I glanced at a few stories...really interesting. I'm quite surprised. Thanks!
