Friday - Rainy with very small clear patches!

Not much time to write tonight as it is so late at the moment, but generally a good day.  

I got up at a decent time, before my show started, watched it, and then took my shower.  F popped home to pick up his cellphone and then went out again.  

I was going to make soup out of the leftovers from the other night, but as I was deciding what to do, F called and asked if I’d like to have lunch with him.  I said yes, so I had to get ready for that.

We had a quick, cheap and cheerful lunch at Kappa Sushi. It was okay, not too crowded and rather fun.  

After lunch I had an hour to get ready for my work, so that’s what I did.  I left home a tad late, and in the rain.  

I set up at my school and had a great class with my student. I did a little bit of prep at home during the week and managed to take about half of the class out of the text, so that was a good thing I think.  

After class, I finished up.  F called me when he finished work and he picked me up. We came home to negotiate dinner and for him to change into regular clothes.  He wanted ramen, so I said I’d go with him to the Taiwanese restaurant that he likes. I tried it with him before about 4 times and the food was awful.  Cold, tasteless or greasy. Bleck.  I told him I’d go again but if it sucked this time too I wouldn’t go anymore.  

Surprisingly, the food was good tonight!  Maybe they knew how to cook the dish I ordered or it wasn’t busy so my food didn’t cool off, but it was hot and pretty good.  

After dinner, we hacked around the nearby hardware store.  We got some stuff for Christmas and ourselves.  Yay.

We came home and had a quiet evening in.  I watched Touch and then Shameless. I was going to do some crochet tonight too, but decided that I’d better wind up the ball of wool neatly.  Some of it was very tangled.  It had to be done sooner or later.  

And that’s about it really.  F is bathing. I should be in bed.  I didn’t sleep well last night.  The movie I watched before bed, wasn’t really conducive to good sleep! Got to go.  Night.
