Tuesday - Bit rainy, bit snowy, bit of everything

A good day today.

I got up at 9:00 am this morning and watched House, while eating my yogurt and reading the paper.  The difference was that F was in da house! I wouldn’t let him have the couch, so he took his computer to bed and did whatever there! I showered after House and then we went to the doctor.  

I had about 3 minutes with him and I really needn’t have bothered going.  I thought I would have an X-ray but I didn’t.  I’m supposed to go back on Saturday.  If F pulls the same baloney that he did last Saturday I’ll just stop going to the doctor.  Once again I told him I could leave our apartment at 9:30.  Really, why should I be earlier?  Because F wants me to go earlier?  Don’t think so.  

After the doctor, F took me to Kushibiki to have lunch at  il-ché-cciano.  However, when we arrived, it was closed so we were directed to Al-ché-cciano instead.  We had a lovely meal. We had an appetiser each, pasta and then dessert and tea.  I had mushroom pasta with nama ham in a cream sauce that was delightful.  Seriously nice.  

When we finished lunch we drove back into Tsuruoka and went to the new store La Casa.  It’s a kitchenware, stationary, cool stuff store.  We hacked around, but F never left my side so I didn’t really enjoy it that much.  We picked up a few things, but nothing major. We followed La Casa with the Kimurya Factory store.  It was lovely.  They had beautiful cakes on sale, plus baked goods to buy for lunches or treats.  Even nicer were the tables and chairs that they had for people to eat on site.  We bought a few things for later and they gave us a free coffee for F. 

We came home for a while and relaxed.  I enjoyed that!

After a while, F wanted dinner, so we headed out.  He’d agreed to Cocos but changed his mind to his Taiwanese place. I grudgingly agreed.  It doesn’t have a non-smoking area and the food is iffy in my opinion.  Last time we went I had a good meal however.  This time the meal was okay, but I wasn’t left raving about it.  

We made a very quick Yamaya run and then headed to my school to do a check. Everything looked fine, so we bought a few groceries and then came home.  We had a quiet evening in, both of us watched a little bit of TV.  I think we’re both going to turn in soon. I’m quite tired and F has to work tomorrow.  

Tomorrow I’m not really sure what I’ll be doing. I should probably start on my next Journal column and my area’s report.  Wish me luck with that!  Got to go.  Night!
