Thursday - Warm but snowy

A good day.

I got up early, showered, spent a small bit of time on my computer then made my breakfast and went off to work!  I left the apartment before noon.  The roads and sidewalks were in good condition so the walk was nice.

I did a lot of snow shovelling at my school.  To be honest, I wasn’t sure I’d even finish, but I did.  I had to do my parking space, part of the driveway and the path to the building.  I managed, but I’m not sure how!

My student came on time, well, nearly on time and we had a good class.  After class I followed her to the parking lot, and it was a good thing.  The snowplough had gone through and had messed up the gateway.  I quickly moved the snow so she could drive out.  Yay me.

I went back in the apartment and relaxed.  Or worked!  I did both.  I corrected homework, I did paperwork and I prepped classes.  

I was there for a while as F was working late. I texted him around 6:30 and he answered.  That was a nice surprise.  He was almost done, said he’d call when he could leave.  He did that and he picked me up.  I suggested going for sushi.  We did.  

We also hit up the drugstore so I could get a few things for our trip and our apartment.  We went home afterwards.  At home, I had received a fax from tomorrow’s student cancelling. Sigh.  We had to go back to my school to turn off the heater!  We did that too.

When we were finally at home we relaxed. F watched some news about the Algeria situation and the anniversary of the Kobe Earthquake.  I was still in Canada when that happened.

We  were quiet and it was nice tonight.  I watched The Good Wife and then F watched something, then I watched Ghost Whisperer.  Enjoyable fluff.  

Tomorrow I’m off and so is F.  I didn’t know that he would take the whole day off. In the afternoon he’s supposed to take me to the doctor, just for a check up really.  Anyway, that’s it for me.  I have to go.  Night!
