A lovely bunch of cards for you again. I hope you enjoy looking at this great group of cards. If you'd like to comment on them, please do below. Also, if you'd like to see them a little bigger, just click on them!
Merja noticed this card amongst my favourites and said that it is one of her favourite cards as well. She is retired, but travelling is her passion. She mentions that she has been to Japan once. She now spends winter in a warmer place and will soon travel to her "summer home" of Cyprus. She sent this card from Finland.

This card was sent from Belarus by Olya. She describes herself as a student who enjoys dancing very much.
I tried looking up the painter but I couldn't find any English information on him nor the subjects of this portrait. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

My next card comes from Russia, and is a little different. This card was taken to a Postcrossers meeting and signed by many of the people who attended. I think it is very cool. I hope to go to a Postcrossing Meeting sometime.
I received another movie star postcard from the US. I couldn't quite make out who the star was though. I thought it might be Gary Cooper, but a look at the back showed me that it was Rudolph Valentino, the silent film star.
Skip sent this card from Massachusetts. He describes himself as an avid reader and listed off a few Japanese authors that he has read. (My total of Japanese authors...zero.) He has travelled all over Asia but now he mostly travels vicariously through Postcrossing.
As if the postcard wasn't enough, Skip used great movie star stamps too, so this card is really up my alley.
Thank you so much!
The last card on this entry comes from the Ukraine. Julia sent it and notes that she lives in a city near the Black Sea. She hopes that I like this card with the sea view. I do, very much.
She used an interesting group of stamps. They appear to all be connected. There are a lot of stamps on this card, they are all quite cool.
Thanks Julia!
There you are, another cool batch of cards. I hope you like them as much as I do. Which one do you like best?
Until next time!

I vote for the Russian card this time. I really like that ornament stamp. How special to have it signed by a large group of fellow postcrossers! I wish I could attend a meeting too. I bet that would be a great place to exchange cards and share information.
We can have a mini meeting in Kyoto if you like!
I agree about the information and maybe about the card exchange. I haven't bought any new cards for a while. My shopping trip in December was cancelled, so I need some new cards again.
I like the ornament stamp too, it really is gorgeous in person. I'm awfully partial to the Gregory Peck/Helen Hayes stamps though. They were such terrific actors.
Thanks for visiting!
