Wednesday - Cold and rainy, snow later

A good day.

We had a bit of trouble getting up today. We’d both stayed up rather late. I actually went to bed before F though, and was fast asleep when he finally came to bed. 

He got up earlier than me too, and took the bread out of the machine. Last night he’d set the maker up for Cinnamon Raisin bread and it was scrumptious.  I had some for breakfast.

After my shower, we headed out to my school first. I wanted to turn on the heater as it was very cold in there.  That done, we had to have a proper lunch.  Everything was closed, so we ended up at a sushi restaurant. It was nice, but we had to wait to get seated and then the sushi was a tad expensive.  After that, F drove me back to my school and I got to work.

First up, I went to the parking lot and checked out my space. It wasn’t too bad, just very wet.  I put a lot of the water on top of my snow mound, hoping to melt it a bit.  

I went inside and really got busy.  I took down the curtains and washed them, then of course I had to rehang them.  While they were in the washer I did a lot of dusting of high places, and took out the filters from the air conditioner and cleaned them.  I cleaned, dusted, vacuumed and threw a few things out.  It took a while, but I feel like I can start the school year fresh now.  Yay me.  

F picked me up around 7 and we had dinner at The Grand El Sun.  It was one of the few places open tonight.  I had their big dinner set as I was really hungry, F just had fish and rice.  I got a couple of appetisers, some bread, some pasta, and then our local pork cooked in nuts, with a mustard taste.  I also got dessert with mine.  Well, dessert and coffee, but I gave F the coffee and he ordered me a tea separately.  They didn’t substitute, I don’t know why!

We came home and had a quiet evening mostly.  I watched Sherlock tonight and it was wonderful.  Again. I am enjoying watching these again as I missed a few things the first time around.  I followed Sherlock up with the end of House and then Bones.  Tonight was the night for shows with one name titles!

Now I have to get to bed as we’re going to Sakata tomorrow to meet a friend and her little one.  I need my beauty sleep.  Night!
