Monday - Grey and then rainy
I didn’t sleep that well last night. When I went to bed I started to cough so I had to get up and find a cough candy. Then, this morning I woke up with that taste in my mouth. Yuck.
I had a quiet day at home. I was always on the verge of falling asleep so didn’t go out. I had some of F’s gorgeous bread. He made some pain de campagne again and it was hard to stop eating it!
I watched a bit of TV and wrote a postcard. I also scanned a few. I got a couple of birthday cards in the mail and a couple of postcards too. I love mail!
F came home a little late and didn’t call first. I had planned to start prepping dinner when he called, but…. We decided to go out to set the heater at my school and to mail my postcards and some of his stuff. We left around 7 and were back in 45 minutes, so not too bad really.
We started dinner when we came home. For a change, most of it was microwaved! I did tandori chicken in the microwave, and F did some dumpling things that we bought. I also made couscous and we had salad too. The chicken wasn’t fabulous, but it was quite nice. The dumplings were okay but not great.
F did the dishes and we had a quiet evening at home. He watched fighting, and then I watched Harry’s Law. Today was one of the best episodes I’ve seen in a while. We also watched a weird Orlando Bloom film and then Paul.
F’s off in bed now and I’m planning to head there soon. Tomorrow night F is taking me out for a fancy dinner so I’m not sure when I’ll be home! Don’t wait up! Talk tomorrow. Night.
