Sunday - cloudy with a slight skiff of snow

A good day.

I got up for the first time a bit after 11:00.  I was up for a while, had a bit of F’s bread (which was awesome!) and then as he was deeply engrossed in Ultimate Fighting on the TV, went back to bed for a snooze.  I didn’t stay asleep, but finally got up a bit later.

We decided to go out to karaoke and have lunch there.  We went to the place near our apartment and spent a good couple of hours singing and eating!  The food wasn’t bad. We had a Cobb Salad that was amazing. I would definitely have that one again.

After our time was up, we made a quick trip home and then left again.  We went to S-mall and had a bit of dinner.  F had ramen of course which he actually said was okay, and I had a half order of grilled chicken and a salad.  Fortified, we left the mall.

We went over to Matchi-kine and went to see Les Miserables.  It was….okay.  I liked the performances, just didn’t think it worked somehow.  I was expecting something much more I suppose.  I also think it was a huge mistake to use Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen in the film.  Whenever I saw them it completely broke me out of the Les Miserables world and put me back into Sweeney Todd’s world. I thought Russell Baby did well, and so did Hugh Jackman.

After the movie we hit up the grocery store for tomorrow’s dinner and a few extras.  We got more food for ourselves for tonight!  The sushi for Setsubun was on sale, so we got a little bit for home.  We didn’t get the super expensive stuff, just the cheap stuff!

That’s about it.  We were home a bit late.  I made some tea, F set up the bread maker again.  This pain de campagne that he is making is so good.  It’s supposed to be like sourdough bread.  All I know is that it is great!

I watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo which was on late.  I still love it as much as when I first saw it.  I may even have to re-read the book!

Tomorrow, I’m not sure what I’ll get up to.  I might chill or I might actually get my butt in gear and do something!  I’ll let you know tomorrow night.  Got to go.  Night.
