Saturday - Snowy and rainy
Odd day!
I got up a little late this morning, but not bad really. I got up, showered and came back to the living room. F was up, had been up for ages. He’d made bread last night, but forgot to put yeast in it. It didn’t rise, and looked rather like a big heavy bun. So, he’d decided to make more. Unfortunately it was supposed to be finished at about the same time I was supposed to be on my way to work. I was less than pleased.
Oh, and his wallet turned up. It was in the pair of pants that he’d worn on Thursday. He’d forgotten that he’d worn them, so hadn’t checked them. Le sigh.
When the bread came out, we went out to a restaurant and then over to my school. F helped me shovel a bit of snow. It wasn’t deep, just had to be done. He went home and I went back to my classroom.
I got ready for work and today, my student came. Yay! We talked a little about why she’s missed so many classes recently and I understand better now. We had a good lesson and finished a lesson.
After she left I did paperwork, read the newspaper and then called F and asked him to come for me. I shovelled a little bit of snow from outside, and stood and waited. He came finally.
We headed over to the theater and went to see Jack Reacher. First, we had dinner at the restaurant. I swear, their menu is getting shorter all the time! It was okay tonight, not great. The movie was pretty good. It was a good action movie. Not mindless and as usual, I quite enjoyed Tom Cruise’s acting. F said he enjoyed it too, so that was a big bonus.
We came home afterwards and had a quiet evening in. We watched a bit of skating (not my choice) and a bit of CSI and then Chuck. We finished off the evening with the major weirdness that was Lost Highway.
Tomorrow I have no idea what we’ll do. We’ve had quite a bit of snow tonight, so it might be a problem getting out of the apartment! I hope we get out a little.
That’s it for me. Night.

I have not watched any of those movies, perhaps I'll look them up.
I liked Jack Reacher (Outlaw in Japanese) but Lost Highway was odd. It was on cable last night.
