Sunday - Snowy, very snowy

A mostly relaxing day.

I woke up quite late this morning, but it didn’t matter.  F was having a relaxing morning too.  When I got up, we decided to order in sushi for lunch, but they wouldn’t deliver it. Apparently we missed the last delivery car.  F went out to get it, brought it back and then did a lot of snow shovelling. 

We chilled out around the apartment for the afternoon, and then F announced that he was going to have his hair cut.  I begged to be dropped off at S-Mall for a bit of shopping.  I hacked around the mall for a bit, didn’t buy too much until I realised that this might be my best bet to get F something for Valentine’s Day.  I got something…and I hope that he shares! 

F came back and we hacked the 100 yen shop again and got a couple of things, then headed out of the mall.

We were thinking of dinner and as usual had an argument about it.  Sigh.  He wanted more fish and I did not.  We sort of compromised. I said I’d go to a Chinese restaurant with him, but the one he wanted to go to was really busy.  Instead of that , we went to a Taiwan restaurant that he likes.  It was okay, but he wasn’t happy.  We both ordered set meals and then he ordered an extra dish. As usual, he tried to get me to eat half of his food and some of the extra dish.  I had a bit of the extra dish, but I drew the line there.  

We came home and had a quiet evening.  F was really tired so he took an early shower while I watched a bit of TV and a movie.  I wasn’t a big fan of the movie I watched (The Debt) as it was really slow.  However, the actors were good…Helen Mirren, Tom Wilkinson, and Jessica Chastain, but….something missing.  I watched a bit of telly too afterwards. 

And that’s about it for my day.  I mostly had a good day, but I really hate fighting with F about food.  I really, really don’t want to get uptight about something so basic.  

No plans for tomorrow sadly.  No idea what we’ll get up to.  There’s really too much snow outside to go anywhere.  Oh, before I go, I’ll post a night picture of the snow!
