Friday - Sunny and warmish

An okay day.  I got up this morning to a wonderful smelling apartment!  My bread that I set up from last night was finished and smelled amazing.  Yum.

After my shower I had some of the bread and it was very nice.  I think next time I'd put a bit more herb in, but for a first attempt it was yummy.

I did some laundry and put some clothes away, or tried to.  I'm running out of space and I probably should cull a few things.

Although F offered to bring lunch again, I reminded him that I had to work today, and turned him down.  I made myself an omelette with salmon and cheese and it was good!

I left for work and made a quick stop at the bank on the way.  It was a lovely day for being out and about.  I set up for work and then my student came.  We had a good lesson today.  It was practicing some of the things that we have been studying lately, and the student really needed it.

After class, I did some paperwork and also got ready to come home.  A bit after 6 I called F and asked him to come and get me.  He did, and we went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner.  We had duck soba or udon, and shared an order of tempura.  The tempura was great, and the udon was quite good.  It had a few shavings of yuzu peel in the broth, which made a nice zing in my mouth.

We came home and had some tea and the last choux-cream from last night, then opened up a box of cookies.  They were nice, but I really didn't need them! We watched Bad Teacher which was quite shocking in many ways, but hilarious in others.  I wouldn't suggest it for family viewing at all though.

F went to bed fairly early and I'm still up. I'm watching Glee again…I'm loving watching the double shots this week.

That's it for me.  I think I have a class tomorrow, but I'm not completely sure as the student is often busy and can't always contact me.  I'm not sure what else I'll get up to this weekend. I hope it'll be something fun.  Come back and find out all about it!  Night.

For some reason I was thinking you still had a ton of snow. Glad to hear your weather is nice. Hearing about the smell of bread just made me hungry!! I've been thinking about getting a bread machine. I might just do it!

The streets and the sidewalks are clear for the most part, but there is still a lot of snow around.

And the bread machine is a little addictive! My husband uses it more than I do. We have a lot of fun making different kinds of bread.
