Saturday - Snowy, cold and blowy

A good day.  I was surprised this morning because F didn’t get up early!  He slept in quite late.  I was the one who got up probably an hour before me.  I didn’t mind of course, just thought it was funny.  When he got up we had some tea and toast.

After a while we decided to go and see a movie at 4:30, but needed lunch first.  We went to a gyudon restaurant fairly close to our apartment, then headed over to the theater.  Today we saw Flight with Denzel Washington.  The flying scenes at the beginning were really scary!  Ack.  I did think it was cool that they used The Barenaked Ladies on the radio at the start of the film.  I heard them and said to F “Barenaked Ladies!” but he thought I meant the nude lady in the hotel room!

When the movie finished we went home for F’s tablets, then spent a little bit of time hacking around the mall.  We didn’t buy much, then headed out.  We ended up at Kappa Sushi for a quick and cheap dinner.

We had a quiet night at home.  F set up the bread maker for onion bread.  This time he did everything himself, including caramelising the onions!  I’m so glad he didn’t expect me to do them tonight.

He went to bed and I stayed up later. I watched a few things on TV, enjoyed some, didn’t enjoy others.  I took out the bread a bit before 4, and F heard the beep on the machine and got up.  Of course, about 5 minutes after I did that, the heater ran out of kerosene so I got to fill it too!

And that’s about it for my day.  I have no idea what we’ll get up to tomorrow.  I hope it is good however!  Talk to you tomorrow.  Night!
