Tuesday - Hot, muggy and cloudy

A good day.

I woke up this morning and was surprised it was morning already.  F had already left the room, so I was surprised when he came back in a few seconds later to find something.  I was convinced it was well past 8, but it wasn’t quite there.  

I watched the news, and then my drama.  I did my usual bed making and then breakfast eating.  I did plan to go out today around three, so I kept an eye on the clock.  I watched a bit of stuff off the DVR and was just going to have an early lunch when F called.  He was going to be near and offered me a ride to the downtown area.  I accepted!

He dropped me off at the mall and I walked to Foodever.  I had lunch at the meat place and the guy knew what I was going to order before I said it.  Maybe I go too often?! 

After I ate, I walked to the train station. I went into the ticket office and filled out a form and got in line to buy my tickets for my trip next month.  One cool thing was the people behind me were speaking French!  That’s something I don’t hear much of in Tsuruoka.  One of the JR assistants started coming down the line to see if she could help things move faster.  The lady in front of me was fine, she took my form and me out to the lobby and did my request by machine.  I’m not sure if I could do the same, to be honest as the machines don’t always have ALL the same buttons in English.  Still, it was fun.  

After that, I walked back to S-Mall and I spent the next few hours there.  It was too long.  S-Mall is so small and I was in the mall a couple of times last week, so I was a tad bored!  I got a couple of things at the hundred yen shop, had some coffee and some ice cream and finally went to Doutor for an iced tea and some crochet time.  

I read a bit of a book today and while I was in the coffee shop, I did a bit of crochet. I finished the two partial squares and worked on one with two colours.  I like the way it looks.

F called me after 6 pm then came and joined me for a bit. He wanted to go for dinner but I persuaded him that we should get something for his mother first.  We went to the grocery store for a nice bento for her and then delivered it to the house.

F and I went to a drugstore for stuff for him and then went to Sashimiya for dinner.  That was quite nice.  F and I had different dishes but enjoyed them.  

We came back to the house and relaxed.  It was 29 degrees in our bedroom.  Yikes.  So hot.  I watched a bit of TV and enjoyed my fan’s cool breeze.  F took a shower and then went to bed.

And that’s you up to date.  Tomorrow I hope to relax a bit and survive the weather if I can.  It might be rainy which isn’t what I want!  Come back later and see what I get up to.  Until tomorrow….
