Thursday - Rainy and humid

An okay day.

I woke up when F got up for work this morning but managed to fall asleep for a bit afterwards. I did have a hard time actually getting up though.  

My morning was quiet. I did a couple of loads of laundry and hung them up in our room, I folded and put away the clothes that were dry before.  Yay.  

In the afternoon I didn’t see much of K. I think she took a nap.  I absolutely don’t mind, I was just worried in case she wasn’t eating or drinking enough.  This kind of weather isn’t good for the elderly.  I drank a lot of tea personally, had lunch and also wrote up 3 postcards and scanned all the incoming ones I had before.  There were a lot.

F called a couple of times and said he’d be late.  When he called to say he’d arrived back at his office and was coming back to the house, I suggested getting his mother a bento on the way.  He did, so he was a bit later.

When F arrived back at the house he wanted to know where I wanted to eat, but wouldn’t say where he’d like to eat. He kept suggesting gyudon shops, but honestly, HE can’t eat much meat and I don’t like rice, so why suggest them??

We finally decided to go to Coco Ichibanya.  We both had the same main dish, curry udon, but F added on rice and an egg.  It was good but so hot (temperature wise) that it was hard to eat. It was a tad spicy too, but nice.  I enjoyed our meal, I think F did too.

Then, we went to the Internet Cafe for 3 hours.  I checked with F to see if he really wanted to do it.  We wouldn’t be done until after midnight…he has to work tomorrow.  He said it was better than going to a cafe for a while which was my alternate idea.

The Internet Cafe was fairly quiet tonight. No one was using the massaging chairs so we got right in.  Yay.  I did some crochet, watched a bit of telly, some YouTube and just relaxed a bit.  Hurray for that.  I didn’t want to leave at the end, but it was after midnight so we had to.

We came in and went upstairs.  F took a shower, I watched Castle and blogged.  It’s been a pretty good day really.  I am fairly tired from the weather, so I think I’ll try to get to bed soon.  Come back later if you will and see how Friday is. Until tomorrow….
