Thursday - Cold and rainy…Yay!

A good day.

When I woke up this morning I am delighted to say that it was cold…it was around 21 degrees in my room and it was dull and cloudy outside. Hurray for that.  We’ve had such hot weather lately and it is barely summer that I’ve been a bit miserable!  Today I wore jeans and a long sleeved shirt and I was totally comfortable.  Hurray for that. Lovely to have a non-sweat day too. 

I did a load of laundry early on, hung it up in my room. I also folded up and put away the last laundry load I had done.  I had felt like taking a nap, but I kept busy and didn’t.  

Lunch and breakfast were had, eaten and finally cleaned up afterwards.  I didn’t see a lot of K today, she was complaining about the cold. I had all the windows open up here, I was so happy to have cool weather. I spent part of the afternoon booking a hotel for F and me for next weekend.  He’s taken some time off and wanted to go away.  

F came back to the house around 6.  I suggested getting us all bentos and he liked that idea.  We ordered online and then went and picked them up.  We came back to the house and ate.  I had gapao rice again, F had chicken and K had ginger pork.  I think we were all pleased.  Afterwards, F did the dishes and I dried them and put the recyclables in the bag.  

I came upstairs and so did F. I was hoping we’d go out or do something fun, but F was tired.  I watched TV and F played with his phone.  I went over to the bed to do some crochet, but his phone was a bit loud. I told him I would turn up the TV, so he had to turn up the phone volume.  We got a bit miffed at each other, but happily, it blew over fairly soon.  I did turn off the program and then the TV for a while.  

I took a late shower and when I came back, F was trying to sleep but failing.  I went for a snuggle and we chatted a little.  F has gone to bed and I’m up for now, but am very tired.

No idea what I’ll get up to tomorrow, but I’m hoping to have a bit of time to do Postcrossing. It is also Friday night, so I’m not sure if we’ll do anything interesting for a change.  Come back later and find out. Until tomorrow….
