Wednesday - Hot and Sunny

A good day.

I woke up early this morning when F got up for work.  I didn’t get up, I snoozed a bit late for a change.  I did watch the news though.

I had a quiet morning, watched something off the DVR and did a load of laundry so I’ll have clean clothes available next week.  I had breakfast early and after I was finished laundry and eating, I started watching a movie for my column.  I didn’t finish it today, but it is quite near being done. 

I had lunch but went a little late and had to run to get ready to leave on time.  I said goodbye to K and walked to the bus stop.  A few minutes later the bus came and then I got on.  I was the only passenger and the only one for the whole trip!  Yikes.  I got off at S-Mall and a little while later walked over to my hairdresser.

I have waxed rhapsodic in the past about my hairdresser, I am doing so again! I got my hair cut quite short and I really like it.  It was nice to just sit there and relax.  

After I was done, I paid and then walked back to the mall.  I did a little shopping in the hundred yen shop and then went to Doutor. I had an iced tea and caught up on my internet news.  

Around 6 pm I went outside and met my friend.  We drove to a restaurant, but it wasn’t open yet.  No matter, we sat and talked, but another car came by.  The people in the car talked to my friend about the restaurant, then later called to see if they would open.  They would, a bit later.  We went in, got a table and ordered.  We spent rather a long time talking about some classes that I’ll be doing for her starting next week.  The food was great, and afterwards, we talked more about the classes.  We were still in the restaurant at 10:00 pm and they started to play terrible loud music so we assumed they were asking us to leave!  We did.

My friend drove me back to the house and we chatted a bit longer. We are both talkers!  We tried to iron a few last minute details out and then I came inside and let her get on her way.

F was downstairs waiting for me and we had a nice reunion.  We came upstairs and he went to bed and I watched a little telly.  I’m off to get ready for bed now.  I had a good day.  My hair looks good and I had some yummy food.  Hurray for that!
