Saturday - Cloudy and cooler

A good day.

We got up a bit late this morning. F made breakfast for his mother and himself, I had my awesome cereal. 

F and I went out to the doctor’s office and managed to find a good parking space today. Yay. We went in and it was really crowded.  There was a sign up saying it would be a 60-minute wait.  I had brought some knitting with me but decided I wasn’t in the mood and read some of a book on my phone instead. Everything was fine, and the staff called me by my family name for a change, so I was pleased about that. The doctor asked me for a blood test and said I could either do it today or next time, so I chose today! I didn’t want to worry about it for the next month. They were actually really good about it. I was worried that I’d get faint again like last time, so they had me lie down on a bed and they did it that way. It worked rather well.  I was fine this time. I had breakfast this morning, not sure if I did last time or not so that might have made a difference.

After we finished at the clinic, F and I went off for lunch. The one place I suggested wasn’t open yet when I checked it on Facebook, so we changed our plans. We tried another and it was too busy, so went with one of F’s ideas to have yakiniku. We had a pretty good meal.  

We tried to go to the Chido Museum to see the Swords and Armour exhibit. Well, we did go to the museum, but the exhibit was really busy as it was the first day. There was a “talk” on at the exhibit and we decided to come back later. We looked at other parts of the museum and then came back, but it was still crowded and the guy was still talking. F chose to leave since he was trying to avoid an ex-co-worker.  

We had coffee at Unasakahan  and then came back to the house.  I went to bed for a nap.  F woke me up an hour or so later and I had no idea what time it was or even where I was!  I was out of it.  He went out to get his mother some dinner and I woke up and got redressed.  

F and I went out for dinner to Misono after a bit of discussion.  It was fine. Most times my dish was a bit better, but tonight it was okay.  

We went to the Internet Cafe for 3 hours tonight and enjoyed ourselves.  I watched some YouTube stuff and then Agents of Shield. When it was over I went back to YouTube and watched a bit more. I did some crochet but didn’t finish a row because I was worried about spilling on it.

We came back to the house via a convenience store and that was our day.  We’ve been watching a thing on NHK where they put a piano in a railway station or an airport and invite people to play something. It’s quite brilliant.  I thought F would enjoy it, and he has been. Usually, it is put on as a time-filler, but tonight it’s on for 3 hours. I think I may go to bed on it soon, but it has been very enjoyable tonight.  Makes me wish I’d studied the piano in my childhood!  

Anyway, that’s my day for now.  Tomorrow we’re having lunch with a friend and her children, and then I’m not sure what we’ll get up to. We might go back to the museum or do something else completely different!  Until tomorrow….
