Thursday - Hot and Sunny

I woke up quite early this morning but fell back asleep until after F left. It was so hot when I woke up, it was horrible. I was sweating and the pillow was wet. Yuck.

I got up, watched the news-they seem to have ditched the “Catch-news” which is a huge relief. I don’t need Japanese TV telling me what they think I need to know.

I roused myself around the time that Pretty Little Liars started. I watched it and dressed. A little later I went down for my breakfast and brought it up to the room to eat. K was snoozing in the living room.

I had a quiet day and I felt like having a nap, but I never did. Sometimes I am surprised that I didn’t nap at the end of the day.

After 4 pm I went downstairs and washed my dishes. I also put together a salmon salad and wrapped it up for later. 

A bit after 5 I got a call from F saying he was on his way. Five minutes later he called back saying that he wouldn’t be back for a while as his boss called him back to work. Boo!  I went downstairs and tried and failed miserably to let K know what had happened.  I got started on some of the other dinner prep. I made some veggie sticks and put them on the table for K to munch on.

F wasn’t back by 8 pm, so I decided that we should start. I was a bit hungry, so thought we’d be wise to have our dinner.  I gave K and I some cold soup and we had some salad and some English muffins with either salmon salad or some duck breast on them.  It was nice.  We had just started when F called to say that he was on his way.

F arrived and we all ate a bit more.  I know that F didn’t eat too much, but I was quite hungry today. I enjoyed dinner and the best thing was I didn’t have to cook for it!

I started the dishes after the meal and then F came around and washed the rest of them. I dried some, and so did F. 

We went out tonight to have a drink and get some groceries.  Starbucks was first and we had a couple of frappuccino’s. Mine was the newest flavour but the texture was odd. Crunchy marshmallows.  

We whipped around the grocery store then came back to the house. We both had our showers and then I watched TV, F went to sleep on the bed. I’ll have to wake him up soon to go to sleep properly.
