Thursday - Sunny but coolish

I woke up at 7:00ish this morning. I thought F had left, but he hadn’t. I made a trip downstairs and then didn’t go back to bed exactly. I watched the news from the bed.  

I got up and dressed a bit after 9 and did a few things around the room. I did a load of laundry today and took down the dry laundry from before. I dumped it on the bed for later. 

I was on my computer for a while, but I just had to take a nap. I set my timer for 20 minutes and went to the bed and had a nap. I reset the timer a couple of times and it did me the world of good. I had been feeling a bit dizzy before this and I realized that I had less than 5 hours of sleep last night. Not enough.

I went down a bit later and made my lunch. I made a croissant with tuna for K and one for myself. I had to do the dishes before I went back upstairs so some of my food was cold. Sigh.

I was enjoying my afternoon and catching up on some of my dramas when F called. He’d taken the rest of the day off and he was going to go to the doctor. Except, he’d forgotten that his doctor doesn’t work on Thursday afternoon. Oh dear.  He came back here and we relaxed for a bit. I watched the news and then we went out and had a drink at Starbucks. We both tried the new Sweet Potato frappuccino. I liked it a lot, F not so much.

We came back to the house because we were both falling asleep in the coffee shop!  At the house,  F started working on the nabe after a while, and I came upstairs. He doesn’t help me, I’m not going to help him! (I would have though, if he’d asked. He didn’t.)

I came down for dinner a while later. F’s nabe was pretty good for a change.  We all ate quite a bit. Afterwards, I cleared most of the table and brought out the rest of the raspberries. We had them today with some whipped cream stuff from the store. Very nice.

I cleared the table tonight and I was going to start washing the dishes but decided not to. There have been too many nights where I have had to cook and wash and dry all the dishes. I did an F, I sneaked off to the washroom and stayed there for a while. When I heard him start to wash the dishes I decided I would help by drying them.  So, I did.

After dinner and the dishes were done, we came upstairs and vegged. I had suggested to F that he get out his computer and charge it up. We might be able to try starting it up tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

F has the day off tomorrow, but we have no plans. He’s hoping to go to the doctor and then after that, I don’t know! I hope we have a good day though.
