Friday - Sunny and warm

I slept in a bit this morning, but so did F. I got up finally and watched the news I’d recorded earlier, he got up and went off to the doctor.  I had breakfast and a quiet little morning.

F came home around 1 and it wasn’t pretty. The first words out of his mouth basically demanded that I name a restaurant to have lunch in. I declined and asked him where he’d like to go. He whined something about a sushi restaurant and I told him that in all honesty, I couldn’t leave just yet. I had started an update on my computer and it said that it would be another 28 minutes.  Of course, it doesn’t really take that long, it updated itself to 18 minutes soon after that.  He stormed out, but he did have the grace to take his mother out for lunch with him. She asked if I wanted to come, so at least one of the people I live with cared about me!  I said I wouldn’t because I don’t eat ramen.

After they left, I had a lovely lunch. It was a bit of a clean out the fridge one, I finished up some instant pasta and some pasta sauce, plus I had a bit more salad and some radishes. Yum.  I ate in the kitchen too, then did my dishes.

When F and his mother came back he threw himself onto the bed and took a nap. I took one too but got up to watch the US news at 4 pm.  I stayed up after that.

Around 6:30 I roused him to see about dinner. I was worried that K might need something, but he said that she didn’t. He also said that he wasn’t going to eat as he had a stomach ache.  Since I didn’t have to think about his food requirements, I chose Cocos for myself.  

We drove there and I was a bit surprised when he came in with me.  We got a nice table and ordered. F and I both had the same dishes we had last time we came to Cocos!  He had a fish on rice bowl and I had a roasted almost half chicken. I did vary the sauce this time though.  I really enjoyed my dinner, he liked his.  

We left Cocos and came back to the house. F went back to bed, although he didn’t sleep. I watched some TV and took a shower later on. I watched a bit more later on too.

It’s been a fairly quiet evening. F isn’t having a good evening. He’s got backache as well as a stomachache so isn’t in the best mood. Sigh.

Tomorrow we don’t have any real plans I think. F’s car needs checking, so that should happen and I think there’s another free concert at the aquarium that we’ll go and see.  That’s about it really.
