Monday - Rainy, cloudy and cold

I slept in a bit this morning, but I did wake up when my alarm went off.  F and K went off to the onsen, I took care of a personal chore and had breakfast.  I was just about to check my email groups when they came back.

After a while, I suggested lunch. K didn’t need lunch today, so F and I went someplace a bit swanky. We went over to the Daiichi Hotel and had their meat or fish lunch. It was really nice and it was fairly quiet in there too.  I had a nice lunch!

Afterwards, we drove out to Mikawa Mall and did a little shopping. Well, I did. F wasn’t feeling that great so I suggested that he go and have a coffee while I did a little shopping. If I needed him I’d call him.  It was a good suggestion for me. I scoped out purses for myself, then went up to the ladies section and looked at clothes for my sister.  Well, I tried on a few too but didn’t get them. I put the stuff I liked in a basket and then visited the craft section. I saw lots to like there but didn’t get anything as I have so much yarn. (I nearly wrote too much yarn, but there’s no such thing!) 

I texted F and then when there was no answer, as usual, called him. He has a point card so if we use it, he gets points and we can spend them on movies or something else. After we got the clothes, I took him downstairs to look at the purses and I ended up buying one of those. My purse is nice, but the zipper has come away from the purse and it probably isn’t worth repairing it. 

We picked up a little bit of food for K and brought it back to the house for her. I thought she was in bed when we arrived, but she wasn’t. She turned on the light for us, which was nice. 

We spent a bit of time in our room before going out for dinner. We had a few discussions and finally decided to go to Foodever. When we got there, there was only one place open…the meat place. I was happy, but I’m not sure about F. He did have a nice looking dish, steak and curry. I had the Genghis Kahn or lamb on rice.  It was good too.

We bought groceries afterwards, although I really wanted to go to Starbucks. I pointed out to F that I didn’t get to go for coffee today. I didn’t push it though and we didn’t go. 

We came back to the house, put away the groceries and I came upstairs and waited for F. I waited and waited and eventually just gave up on him. I was quite upset with him. 

I took a shower and then watched The Good Wife and American Idol. I’ll probably go to bed in a few minutes.

I’m going to do a lot of cooking tomorrow so I’m a little bit worried about it. I hope it goes well.
