Saturday - Sunny and warm. Gorgeous day!
F had said he’d go off to the onsen this morning, but of course, he didn’t. I got up around 11 and got dressed, it took him a while. He made breakfast for his mother and then came back upstairs.
We went out to lunch together. I’d suggested going to Hyakkenbori, and that is where we ended up going. We had a lovely lunch. F had the daily fish, which he liked, and I had a new dish, a chicken Doria. It was really good. I’m definitely going to have that again.
After our meal, we popped back to the house for a few minutes. I brushed my teeth rather thoroughly and then we went back to my dentist’s office. I didn’t have too much work done today. I think it was mostly a check to see how the new crown is doing. It seemed to be okay. I’ll go back in a few months to have a fluoride treatment.
We were planning to go and see a movie tonight, so we got a bento for K and brought it back to the house. We relaxed a bit and then all of a sudden F announced that he was feeling bad and couldn’t go to the movie. He went to bed for a while.
I was rather annoyed, to be honest, but if he really wasn’t feeling well, I didn’t want him behind the wheel of a car. I spent time on my computer and relaxed. I even went to bed and took a nap for an hour or so too. I was that tired.
When F woke up and when I woke up, F was feeling better. We went to Kushibiki to a restaurant there and had variations of the same dish. I had mabo-dofu on rice, he had it on ramen. It was nice.
We came straight back to the house after dinner. I would have liked to go somewhere else but wasn’t asked. It’s fine. F went back to bed with his computer. I watched a few things off the DVR and tried to make the best of a boring night.
And that’s about it for the night. Tomorrow I have no idea what we’re going to get up to. I hope it’ll be something exciting or fun at least. Come back later and see. Until tomorrow….
