Wednesday - Cloudy and then rainy

I got up this morning but didn’t stay up. I watched the news from the bed and just didn’t get out of bed. Sigh. What am I going to do with myself?

I went down to grab breakfast and brought it back up to the room. I had my usual cereal and yogurt. It was pretty good. 

I had quite a quiet day. I didn’t watch too much TV today, I just wasn’t in the mood. I did some of F’s pants today too. I’ve started sewing the verticals now. I think it looks good.

I wrote quite a bit of email today. I’ve been putting it off, I just haven’t felt in the right headspace to do it. I think I’m a bit depressed actually. So many things are happening right now and the world is a scary place.

F called me around 5:30 and wanted to know if I wanted him to bring something for dinner. I not too gently reminded him that there was no dinner because we didn’t buy anything last night. He then asked me where I’d like to go, we came up with a couple of reasonable places and I thought we were set. 

When F arrived, he came up with a different idea and it was fine. He wanted to go to Kula Sushi for dinner. I don’t mind because I like the extras there and I know that K likes them too. He made a reservation and we drove over there.

We were seated right away and had a pretty decent meal. Oh, F complained about the sushi as always, but I didn’t mind what I had. K polished off most of the fries that I ordered and we all ate our onion rings, so yum.

After dinner, F and I drove K back to the house and then we went off to do some shopping. We went to Mina, the grocery store that we don’t go shopping at very often. We walked around and found a few goodies for ourselves and I got the makings for dinner tomorrow night. I tried to get F to think about Friday night, but he wouldn’t. He’s in charge that night as I have to work late. 

On the way back to the house, F asked if I’d like to go for coffee, so we went over to Komeda and had a coffee. One nice thing was that the waitress let us know that the cake we always try to order was in for a change. Unfortunately, neither of us was hungry and we didn’t have it!  After an hour and a half, I suggested to F that we leave.

We came back to the house, put away the groceries and got on with stuff. I did up the garbage for tomorrow, then took a shower. F took a shower later on.  I only watched a programme off the DVR, nothing on “live” TV.  

Tomorrow I have to get up early and actually make sense, so I am going to end this here and now. Come back later if you like and hear about my day. Until tomorrow….
