Tuesday - Sunny

I got up briefly this morning to watch the news, and did, but then fell asleep right afterwards. I slept a bit later than I meant to. Oh well. I got up and did a load of laundry and grabbed my breakfast too.

I had a quiet day. I finished and submitted my Journal Column, I think it is okay. Just after I sent it in, I got a call from F saying that he was finished work and was on his way home. Huh?  He’d taken time off. Okay then.

When he came back, we had a nice greeting and then…sigh. I just don’t know. I went downstairs to do my dishes and get started on dinner. F had even bought me a baguette like I asked, in fact, he bought two of them. 

I spent the next hour or so preparing dinner. I was rather peeved because F was in the next room or taking a shower or whatever…he just didn’t ask me if I needed any help. An extra hand in the kitchen would have been nice. 

I cut up one of the baguettes and then as I needed the space on the table took it into the living room and put it on the table. F was in my way of course and I didn’t speak to him.

I continue cooking. I made the ajillo, I plated the salad and I made some small omelette things to go with dinner.  When I took things out to the table, F wasn’t there. I went upstairs to get him and he said he didn’t want to eat. I was quite upset. He keeps doing this. Tonight’s dinner was perfect for him. It didn’t have any meat and was a fishy thing. 

I came downstairs and had dinner with K. I don’t know how happy she was about that, but she did say the meal was good and we almost polished off the one baguette I cut up.  I put his plate in the fridge to see if he wanted it later.

I did all the dishes and of course, there were a lot tonight. However, I listened to a couple of podcasts so it wasn’t too bad. I washed and dried the dishes and put them away. 

I came upstairs when I finished. K was doing something in the kitchen so I wished her a good night. She wished it back to me. 

Upstairs I didn’t talk to F at all. I just can’t do it sometimes. He was lying in the dark watching YouTube. He also made no move to talk to me. 

I spent time on my computer and did watch something on TV quite late.

Anyway, tomorrow is a national holiday and we’re off to a great start. I am just over this. We can’t go anywhere interesting this week and I am not interested in spending more time in this place. I guess I’ll have to suck it up though.
