Tuesday - Muggy and hot
Well, this morning came and F didn’t go to work. He was still having stomach problems and basically stayed the day in bed.
I did my usual stuff, ignoring him as much as I could, which wasn’t much really. I watched the news from the bed and then got up and dressed. I had a quiet day, I didn’t watch any TV at all until later, I did watch some stuff off YouTube though.
In the afternoon he got up and made brunch for his mother and himself. I had lunch at my usual time. Later on, F decided to go to the doctor. Since I’d suggested that he go hours before, I cheered him on. He left and I got to watch the news without an audience.
When F came back he seemed a bit better. His doctor had given him some medicine and said it is his old problem that often rears its head around now. Sigh. He was swearing off meat again. I finally tackled him on that and asked if he meant all meat or just some? He grudgingly admitted that lean chicken was okay, which was a relief to me. I will happily eat chicken until the cows come home, but I can’t and won’t cook a lot of fish.
We went out to get bentos for dinner. I had been going to cook, but decided to hold over my cooked dinner until tomorrow night. We went to the grocery store and picked some stuff up. I had tempura on rice and F and his mother had some kind of mixed bento. I provided the hibiscus tea and set the table.
F actually washed the dishes tonight. Of course, there weren’t very many, so I don’t think it really counts! Yesterday there were a lot, today not that many. I was still glad for the help though.
We came upstairs after dinner and relaxed a bit. I was on my computer for a while and later on watched some TV. F did ask about watching a movie but he was rather late to the party and the timing wasn’t great.
F will probably go back to work tomorrow. I’m not sure if he is feeling better, but I hope he is. I’m glad that the doctor gave him some medicine, I just hope that it works properly.
