Friday - Sunny and warm
I woke up because F was making a lot of noise this morning. I didn’t manage to sleep through it, so I made a quick trip downstairs and then went back to bed. I overslept of course! I got up a little later and watched the news and had breakfast too. I watched some of the X-Men movies that were on cable today and even watched one from last night that I had recorded. It was fun.
Around 1:30 I went downstairs and did some prep for dinner. I cooked all of the fillings for the quiche and put them in the refrigerator. I also washed up and then brought my lunch upstairs to eat.
Around 5:30 I went downstairs to start cooking dinner. F phoned and I reminded him that I needed a salad. He went to the store, while I got the quiche mix made and put in the oven.
After F came back, I kicked things into a higher gear and soon got things on the table. It was odd, K had spent most of the day in bed, and in fact, she was in bed while I was setting the table.
Anyway, we had dinner and it was nice. It got rave reviews, but no one wanted to have seconds on the quiche. I was rather upset by that. Well, I hope people want quiche for lunch!
F wasn’t feeling well again so I did the dishes. I didn’t mind too much today as there weren’t that many. Then, when I got back upstairs, he was here in bed, but playing with his computer again. Grr. It makes me feel kind of angry. I thought he was going to go to bed, not play games. Last night, I went to bed at 3 am and he was lying in bed watching videos. He watched a bit more, even after I was in bed. It’s crazy. I worry about him and he just isn’t taking care of himself.
I’ve watched a few movies tonight. The cable channel is playing X-Men and Wolverine movies these days. Last night was X-Men, tonight is Wolverine! Much as I love Hugh Jackman, I don’t think I’m going to watch the show all night!
Not sure what is going to happen tomorrow, come back and see. Hopefully it’ll be something good! Until tomorrow….
