Sunday - Warm and sunny, rainy at night
I did go to bed really late last night again, but so did F. In fact, I went to sleep and he was still watching YouTube on his computer. When I woke up in the morning F was on his computer again!
I dragged myself out of bed and a little while later we went out for lunch. We went to Sukaze today. We did have to wait for a while, but after that, we had a lovely meal. I had pasta today and F had fish with shrimp. It was all very nice. We had a small dessert and coffee afterwards.
After lunch, we came back to the house and relaxed for a while. F wasn’t feeling all that great, so needed to rest.
Around 4:30 we started thinking about going out again. I had asked that we go to the big mall today so I could look at yarn. I’ve been thinking about making an afghan but don’t have enough yarn here that would work.
We went to the grocery shop first and picked up a bento for K, as well as a few things for me. We delivered the food to the house and then F and I went to the mall.
We cruised around the craft section but I didn’t see anything that I really liked. If I liked it, it was expensive. If it wasn’t expensive, I didn’t like the yarn! I finally said to F that I’d have to think about it. I suggested that we go and have dinner and I’d mull over things I saw.
We went to the food court and I had my usual bibinba and F had udon. We both seemed to like our meals! Over dinner I decided that I wouldn’t get any yarn tonight. I’m not in a screaming hurry to get started, so I have time to look a bit more. After I decided about the yarn, I suggested getting some ice cream, so we did that!
We picked up a few groceries in the mall and then drove back to Tsuruoka. It was quite a nice outing. I was glad to be out of the house
We came back to a dark house. We came upstairs and F had the air conditioner on and the room was lovely and cool. We had a quiet evening. I watched Papillion for a bit but turned it off.
We had a quiet evening and a nice day. I can’t ask for much more than that!
