Sunday - Cloudy but warm
Yesterday was a fabulous day which means that to balance things out, today would be a crap day…and it was! Woo hoo!
I went to bed very late again last night and I didn’t set any alarms for this morning. I woke up before 11 and F was in bed next to me watching videos. We chatted a little and I got up and checked the net for a few minutes and then I went back to bed and fell asleep again.
I got up around 1 I think. F talked about going out for lunch, but had no thoughts or plans for where to go. I tried to think of places but couldn’t. F was getting quite nasty so I knew that he needed food. He doesn’t understand that he was getting hangry! I didn’t want ramen of course and he did because he must always have ramen. I suggested a place in the mall that we discovered a couple of weeks ago does have curry on the menu. I’d have curry, he could have ramen.
We got down to the mall and checked out the restaurant. The curry was completely sold out. I told F that I wouldn’t eat there. He could, but chose not to. I went downstairs to the Pizza Hut Express and on the way there he said he was going to get his hair cut. Woo hoo! I had a nice lunch at Pizza Hut and then did a little shopping. I didn’t buy anything, but it was nice to be out. I went to Doutor to have a drink and sent F a message about where I was. I invited him to join me. He did about 10 minutes later.
He refused to have a drink. He sat there with me for more than an hour, used their wifi and didn’t drink. Sigh.
We left, but did buy some chicken at the grocery store first. I had asked F to take me to the Gyomu Supa, and he actually did. We went in and I got a few staples for the freezer and dinners and stuff. Things like tortillas, vegetables, some tea, some snack foods, that kind of thing.
We came back to the house where we unpacked the bags and put the food away. F went upstairs right away and went to bed. I spent time on my computer.
Around 7 I suggested that we do dinner. We sort of decided to go to Kintaro Sushi so F got his mother up (yes, she was already in bed!) and we drove over to the sushi restaurant. However, it was quite busy tonight, so we decided to try a Chinese Restaurant instead. We had a nice meal there. We all chose a dish and swapped a bit. K chose gyoza, F an egg-shrimp-rice dish that I really liked for a change. I chose the deep fried half chicken and some sautéed green vegetable because I wanted to have veggies. Dinner was good and we all had a bit of everything.
We brought K back to the house and then F and I went out. I suggested going to MaxValu since it was closer and that’s where we went. We picked up some food for dinner tomorrow night. I’ve decided that I’m going to make soup tomorrow. I’ll probably start it on the stove and then put it into my slow cooker for more cooking time.
We came back to the house and that was basically it for my day. I’m not sure why F can’t make any plans for his days off…oh, yes, he did get his hair cut before he joined me in the coffee shop. That’s it. The sum of his weekend’s plan.
Why does he need to eat ramen every day? Does he ever stop to think that because of his stomach problems I haven’t been able to go to many of the restaurants that I do like to visit? No, he’d rather whine about how hard done by he is because I won’t go to a ramen shop with him. He can go out for lunch for ramen 5 days a week if he wants to, but that isn’t good enough. I, on the other hand, am expected to stay in his house all day and eat whatever I can find during the week. I’m really quite annoyed.
This is a problem that is getting worse as time goes on. I think that I should sit down with him and have a “little” talk with him, but then he’d pout and whine for days, or give me the silent treatment for a week or so. Actually, I’m at the point where I almost prefer that! It’s so much quieter for me!
Enough complaining for now. Come back later if you like and find out how my loverly soup works out. Until tomorrow….
