Thursday - Cool with a bit of cloud

I woke up because of my alarm this morning. I managed to stay in bed a few minutes longer, but then went downstairs.

I had a quiet day today really. My nose was still running a fair bit, so I kept to myself. I don’t want to infect K with my cold. 

I watched the rest of the GI Joe film from yesterday, thought it was bad. I watched last week’s The Rookie and did a load of laundry too. 

It was a quiet day for the most part, except I did vacuum a little bit up here. I decided that I should get the heater ready as it is starting to get cold. I used it for a little while this afternoon and this evening and it made it so much nicer up here.

I went down to cook dinner around 5:30. Tonight I was making a garlic shrimp stir-fry from a packet from the grocery store. It was a bit small, so I needed other things. I had a bit of a clean out the fridge night and found some potato-cheese patties. I baked those and the sausages from the other night too. I discovered that the mushrooms I was planning to sauté could be microwaved instead, so I did that too. We had some French Onion Soup packets so we each had a bowl of that, plus a salad. Dinner was quite good when we all sat down to it!

I got to do the dishes and clean up as usual tonight. I washed the dishes and listened to a couple of podcasts so at least I was entertained!

I went upstairs and a few minutes F came up too. We decided to go and get a few groceries.  We drove off and went to our favourite store. We got something for tomorrow’s dinner and a few treats for ourselves as well.

We came back right afterwards. I had hoped to go out, but oh well. F does have to work again tomorrow.

I watched today’s The Rookie and then turned off the TV. I have been blogging for a while and also watching “How to Cook That” on YouTube. She was just featuring some 200 year old recipes. They were so much work! 

And…that’s about it for me. It’s been an okay day. Tomorrow, F will be a bit late at work and I’m planning on making tacos for dinner. Come on back and see how that goes!
