Friday -Rainy and drizzly
I had a pretty quiet day today. I was slightly busy in the morning, except I slept in! I woke up early, and then went back to bed and of course, overslept. I got up and forgot to watch the news until the afternoon. That did mean that I didn’t fall asleep so yay for me.
I did a couple of loads of laundry and then I swept the hallway outside my room. K didn’t appear at all today. I heard her once or twice but didn’t actually see her until dinner time.
F called and asked me to find a room for us in the Yamagata area this weekend. He has to renew his license and wants to stay over the night before somewhere close to the Motor Vehicles office. I searched a few leads but didn’t book anything.
After he came back tonight, and I heated up the stew, then served it and cleaned up afterwards, we looked at hotels. I tried to book one, but I couldn’t get through the website. Annoying. F tried using another site, got a good price and booked us in.
So, tomorrow night, no update as I’ll be in Yamagata city. Wish me luck! Hopefully, I’ll be back on Sunday with lots of stories for you!
