Thursday - Sunny and warm

My alarm woke me up this morning. I didn’t hear F leave, poor thing had to go to work early. I got up, watched the early news and then took a nap.  I got up a bit later, did some laundry and even watched an episode of The Walking Dead in the morning. It was a bit scary today, but all the good people survived, well, mostly!

I worked on my column today and got quite a lot done. I still have to write about a few more movies, as soon as I think of them! Ack!

I went downstairs and got my lunch. I also marinated some meat for dinner and gave K a bit of yesterday’s dinner for her late lunch. I came back upstairs to eat and watched an episode of Songland. 

I watched the news and then went downstairs to start dinner. F called to say he was on his way back, so I asked him to bring some more milk as I was planning to use a lot of it. He said he would (and did).

Tonight I made a crustless quiche and made enough mix so that I can make one tomorrow too. I’m going to change it up a bit again for tomorrow though. I’ll likely add some mushrooms and a bit more cheese tomorrow.

Dinner was surprisingly good. I’d used barbecue sauce to marinate the pork and it was a nice, different flavour. The crustless quiche was good too. 

I did the dishes after dinner of course because they wouldn’t get done otherwise. I listened to the Canadian news, which makes things in Canada sound really bad. After that, I listened to a couple of chapters of Persuasion. I am really enjoying listening to the novel, it does help me keep my mind active while I’m doing mundane chores.

After I finished the dishes, I popped my head into the living room to say goodnight to K but she’d already gone to bed. F was there watching TV. I told him I’d go upstairs soon.

I went upstairs and he came up a few minutes later.  Basically, F went to bed straight away and fell asleep. It was a bit sad for me. I closed part of the door so he didn’t have my light in his face. 

I spent the evening on my computer, watched a few YouTube videos and just relaxed a bit. I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow, please come back and find out! Maybe I’ll have something fun happen, maybe not!
