Thursday - Cloudy for much of the day
I got to bed a tad earlier than I have been lately and slept quite well. I was awakened by F in the morning looking for his cell phone. I had to phone him to find it! I went downstairs and then I fell back asleep for a bit. I turned off a few of my alarms too.
I got up a bit later and took a load of laundry downstairs and put it in the washing machine. I grabbed my breakfast as well.
I came upstairs with breakfast and took down last week's clean laundry down in preparation for the new laundry. I watched some YouTube and ate my breakfast too.
I got a call from F who said that he was coming by the house to pick up some fresh pants! When he showed up a few minutes earlier, something had splashed on his uniform pants and he didn’t know what. I assumed that he’d actually change here, but he didn’t!
After his visit, I folded some laundry. I did an F and brought my computer to the bed. I watched a video and folded away. After I put it all away, I took a little nap. Sigh.
I got up a bit later and after a while went down for lunch. I brought it back up to the room and ate. I watched an episode of The Walking Dead. People died in this one, but not the important people, so that was okay! I re-watched Project Runway after it finished and then the news.
F called a bit after 5 and then I went downstairs to get a start on dinner. I watched some dishes first and got stuck in on dinner. I made some cucumber pickle stuff that was good, then I put the coating on the chicken and let it sit for a few minutes. I baked the chicken and also fried some hash brown patties. It took a bit, but basically, dinner was on the table before 7 pm. Woot! Everything got eaten tonight. I was a tad surprised, but everything was gone. I guess that means that people liked it :-)
I did the dishes and listened to some of my podcasts. I also listened to a couple of chapters of The Secret Garden. It was good.
I came upstairs and had a bit of a quiet evening. I took a shower after a while and then came back upstairs and watched a couple of things on Apple+ TV.
And that was my day. F is basically asleep, but he left the lights on in his part of the room. I can’t sleep with the lights on, so he’s lucky.
Not sure what I’ll get up on Friday. Please come back a bit later and find out. Until tomorrow….
