Friday - Rainy and cloudy

I woke up this morning when F got ready to leave for work. Yes, he did wake me up again. To be fair though, I didn’t get up until my alarm went a bit later.

I got up fairly early for me this morning and watched the news on TV. I didn’t record the news early this morning, I forgot to check the listings before I went to bed last night so it recorded curling or baseball…bleck.

I ended up watching a documentary on Queen. I rather enjoyed that. It was good to hear some of the songs again. I like the band, but sometimes I hear the wrong songs too many times. I surprised myself and didn’t fall asleep today. Woot.

I did a couple of loads of laundry today and hung them up in the room. I had quite a quiet day. I didn’t do too much, but that’s okay. 

I finished up the curry from earlier in the week as part of my lunch. It was nice to have lunch a little bit different from usual. F called me during the day to say that he’d be late tonight. He was a bit. He came back somewhere around 7 pm. 

I was downstairs and working on dinner when F came back. Tonight I did a seafood/vegetable stir-fry and some cucumbers in an oily sauce again. They were good.  I made a stir-fry sauce and cooked everything. I also made decaf coffee to have with dinner. That was a nice change.

Everything got eaten except there was a bit of stir-fry leftover. K ate all of the cucumber that F and I didn’t! F didn’t want any extras as he was really tired.

I did the dishes which took quite a bit of time tonight as there was a surprising number. I listened to the news, part of a podcast, and then a couple of chapters of The Secret Garden. It’s really cool having it read to me. 

When I came upstairs finally, F was in bed. He was nearly asleep. I went over to my computer and spent some time on YouTube.  F was asleep for quite a while, but now that it is 2 am, he’s woken up. Oh, dear!

Well, that’s really it for me. I have no idea what we’ll get up to tomorrow. I’d like to do some shopping, but I have no idea if I can talk F into taking me somewhere I can actually shop!
