Wednesday - Sunny and warm

I woke up again before my alarm. F had already gone to work. I went downstairs and then came back up. I watched the news and when it was finished I put on the early morning news. I watched it and then restarted it because I had fallen asleep. I did manage to stay awake the second time!

I did a load of laundry early on and then hung it up in my room. I had a fairly quiet afternoon after breakfast. I didn’t take a nap, hurray!

I went downstairs a little after 2 pm and grabbed my lunch. While I was doing that, K came out of the living room and went off to the toilet without seeing me. I did say hello, but she didn’t hear me of course. When she came back through the room she did see me and was surprised!  I asked her if she’d like the leftover doria from last night, and she said yes.  I heated it up for her and gave her it plus some of the veggies and hummus from yesterday.

I went upstairs and had lunch. I watched an episode of The Walking Dead of course and it was….scary. They set something up for the next few episodes. Sigh. It was a gross one.

I watched the news and then F called a bit later to say he was on the way back, but not feeling very well. I wasn’t sure if he’d want dinner, but he said that he did.

I went downstairs and got started on dinner. I made Gapao Rice, which in itself isn’t that difficult, but it is a bit hands-on right at the end. Of course, I didn’t get any help. I got the table set at the last minute and called F down. He eventually came and plunked himself at the table. I don’t know why he can’t ask if he can carry something to the table for me. It’s so annoying.

Over dinner, I mentioned that tonight was a super blood moon and a lunar eclipse. I said I’d like to see it later if I finished in time.

When dinner was over I cleared the table and got started on the dishes. I listened to the news and a podcast, then I stopped listening because I wanted to hurry up and finish. I was down to the last couple of pans when F came in and wanted me to go out then and there. I didn’t want to. I didn’t want to leave the dishes and then have to come back and wash them afterwards. I told him I was nearly finished.

When I was done, I went upstairs. F was in the washroom.  I was really tired. I’d been standing for ages, my feet hurt and my shirt was wet from leaning against the sink. I fired up my computer and turned on YouTube. I watched some of the eclipse live on my computer. It was beautiful. I tried to relax. I put on my pyjama top.

F came up and asked me to go outside with him for a walk. I turned him down. He went out and then came back soon and told me that he could see the eclipse from outside and I should come too. I told him I was watching it on YouTube and he should have a good time.

He didn’t take that well. He got quite nasty. He left.

I thought that the eclipse was finished so I checked on YouTube and saw that it was still going on. I put on my jacket, grabbed my wallet and keys and went outside.

F was outside watching it, but honestly, it was better on YouTube! I watched for a few minutes and then we both came back in. It was underwhelming.

At a little before 10, I asked F to put his garbage in my garbage bag and I took it downstairs. I did up the garbage from the kitchen too and left it all in the genkan for F to take out in the morning.

I took a shower and when I came back, F was in bed, wrapped up like a burrito. I turned down his light and then came into my part of the room and watched a little TV and got started on my blogging.

So, I have no idea if F is still angry (and why?) or if it is a byproduct of him feeling sick. I wonder if he’ll get over it quickly or if I’m in the doghouse for a few days. We’ll see. He’s in the doghouse with me because he hasn’t paid the internet fee yet. It was due yesterday. I asked that we go and do it tonight, after all, if my internet is cut off, then I don’t really have a link to the outside world. He refused to do it tonight.

That’s it for me for tonight. Stupid of me to want to go out and see the moon tonight. I should never mention that kind of thing to F, he just turns things from a fun activity to a command performance.

Come back later if you like and hear all about my Thursday. Until tomorrow….
