Wednesday - Rainy and cloudy

Last night was another late night, so I slept a bit late this morning. F did wake me up, but I fell back asleep. 

I got up later and got ready to go out. I still ended up sitting at my computer for a while, but that was okay.

F cooked for his mother and then we went out. We didn’t really have a plan for lunch so we would think of a place and it would be closed when we got there. Finally, F suggested going to the Grand El Sun and it was open.  We had a lovely lunch there. It wasn’t cheap, unfortunately, but it was delicious. 

After lunch, we didn’t really have a plan, but we didn’t want to go back to the house yet. We ended up going to Shonai Tacto, the new concert hall in Tsuruoka and just sitting for a while. I read some of my book and relaxed. We talked about going for dessert, but never actually went. We decided to get a bento for K and drove to a couple of places looking for one. We got her a nice one and took it back to the house. 

We were going to have dinner, but I pointed out that it was a little early and the restaurant might not even be open yet. We decided to go somewhere for a drink. F offered Doutor or Starbucks but I countered with McDonald's!  That’s where we ended up for a little while. I had a latte, F had a milkshake and fries. I stole a few of the fries. 

We left and went to Anmol and had Indian food. I really liked it, I’m not sure if F did. We had the set meal with naan, curry, tandori chicken, salad and a drink. It was very nice, in my opinion! I had chicken curry and F had seafood curry.

After dinner, we went to the grocery store and bought food for the next couple of days. I’m back to cooking tomorrow. Sigh. I wish I wasn’t!

We came back to the house and had a quiet evening in. F had a hard time falling asleep but finally did. I should try and get to bed fairly soon too. 

So, that’s about it for tonight. F is back to work tomorrow and I am too. I have to clean up the kitchen because F and K did not leave it in a good condition. I also have to wash out the drawer that I bought and start getting it set up. So that will be fun when K sees it. But…you know, 4 years of keeping my stuff in an open cardboard box is enough. Since no drawers have been cleared out for me, I got my own!

Anyway, today was nice. We kept it fairly low-key, so that was good. I was hoping that we’d go shopping at the mall, but we didn’t. Oh well.
