Thursday - Cloudy in the am, sunny in the afternoon

I went to bed quite late last night but unfortunately woke F up. He wasn’t too happy with me. He often has a hard time falling asleep. When I woke up this morning, he had already left for work.

I had my usual quiet morning. I watched the news and also the early, early morning news. I mostly managed to stay awake too. Woot. I think I had a snooze for a few minutes, but woke up and got up before yesterday’s time. 

I did a couple of loads of laundry today. I am rather happy that I managed to do that. I might do another load tomorrow, I’m not sure. 

I went downstairs a little early to grab my lunch. K was downstairs so I asked if she’d like something for lunch. She said she would, so I heated up some of the leftovers in the fridge.

I came back upstairs and ate my lunch. I also watched…anyone?…any guesses?… The Walking Dead today. Today’s episode was a bit difficult but nobody died so that was good. When it was over, I watched a bit more of my Statham/Johnson movie. I have a little bit more to watch though. 

I watched the news and folded laundry around 4 pm and then went downstairs after F called. I got started on dinner. Tonight’s dinner was a shrimp and broccoli stir-fry with salad from a bag. I had to do the broccoli and this time I also added some shimeji.  It made a nice addition.  

Dinner was good. I do wish that the family members who eat the food would help me a tad.  No one ever thinks to help set the table or even to put the glasses or jug of tea out. 

I washed the dishes and dried and put them away. I listened to my usual news and book and then went upstairs. F was downstairs and I told him I’d need a few minutes to relax and change before we went out. He came upstairs and asked if I was ready to go. I was still in my kitchen clothes. 

I changed and we went out. We went to our usual grocery store and picked up a few things. We came back to the house and put things away. Also this evening, I took a shower and watched a TV show. 

Honestly, that’s about it for my day. I’m catching up on my YouTube shows and trying to get ready for bed. Come back later if you will and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
