 Friday - Hot and Sunny and Humid, with a bit of rain

I woke up when F went to work, but I did go back to sleep again. I woke up with my alarm and then got up. I watched a few YouTube videos on my phone and then a little later I did a load of laundry. 

I went down for my breakfast and almost bumped into K. That was how it was during most of the day today. Every time I went downstairs she was around, usually heading for the washroom before me! I noticed that she had taken one of the pieces of chicken from the night before. That was fine of course, but it was quite early.

Upstairs again I watched a bit of YouTube again and hung up my laundry. I had to use the air conditioner because it was so humid and then hot. I’ve discovered that in my part of the room it gets a lot hotter than in the other part of the room. There are windows without curtains in my half of the room, I think they make a big difference to the temperature in summer. 

I grabbed lunch a bit later today, I worked on my column and I emailed my work supervisor too. I finished my column and emailed it in, I emailed my area rep about meeting up with a friend last weekend too. 

F got back to the house around 6 pm. It was so nice not to go downstairs to start cooking. I did have to go downstairs to wash my dishes though. I was still there when F arrived.  

He ordered our bentos online and then asked me to go with him to pick them up. I didn’t mind, even though I didn’t get out of the car. I sent F into the shop. He had to wait a while but came back about 10 minutes later with the food.

We drove back to the house and had our dinner. I had a kara-age bento, F had a donburi with chicken cutlet and K had a fish and meat bento I think. We also finished up the mashed carrot. I had washed a few cherries to share and got out the mugi-cha. Of course, I still got to do the dishes, but at least it didn’t take that long!

I came upstairs when I was done. F came up a few minutes later and went to bed. He watched the Olympics for a while, and then went to sleep!  I turned down the TV and watched something off the DVR. It got turned off a bit later.

And that was my day. I was busy, but I’m sure that F wouldn’t buy it. Oh well. I’m not sure what we’re going to get up to this weekend. F is off on Monday but may have to work on Sunday. He isn’t sure yet though. I’m hoping to see a movie tomorrow night, but apart from that, I have no idea!
