Tuesday - Cooler, rainy and windy

I woke up a couple of times last night. F woke me up quite early, he wasn’t feeling well he said. After his alarm went off, he got up but took quite a while to get ready. He was very noisy!

I woke up again when my alarm went off. The news is back to its normal self again, so I watched the news and then the news that I recorded early on. It was so nice to see it again.

I got dressed, went downstairs and grabbed breakfast. I came upstairs, ate, and contacted a friend to see if she’d help me work on my classes for next week. She would, but later on!

I had lunch and then contacted my friend. I had a few problems getting the system to work, but that’s why we practice! Better to have problems now rather than in front of my students. We chatted for a bit, but then I had to go as I thought F would be back soonish. 

I even took a few minutes to sweep the stairs up to our room. They were really dusty lately and I kept meaning to do them before now. 

He called me around 5:30 to say he was on his way back. I had earlier asked him to pick up some rice and he suggested getting something Japanese-y. I didn’t really want it but didn’t mind too much. 

I went downstairs and started getting ready to make dinner. Tonight I made pork shabu-shabu salad with some okra and some mushrooms on the side. F and K had rice too and we all had some clear noodles that F had bought. They were okay, a little sour but decent. The shabu-shabu was quite good and I might even try it again sometime. It was nice not to have to fry food, even though I did have to dip it in boiling water. 

After dinner, I did the dishes but it wasn’t too bad for a change. I tried not to make a lot of dishes tonight!

I came upstairs and F came up a little later. He wasn’t feeling well at all and took himself off to bed. I took a shower. I planned to watch Shameless tonight, but I decided not to as I didn’t want to disturb him. 

I put on some YouTube videos and started working on my blog. 

Tomorrow, my friend has agreed to help me again with my class and I have to start doing laundry. I’m cooking dinner again, and I’ll try and throw in a couple of other things again.
