Monday - Sunny but cool
I went to bed a bit early last night and then woke up this morning when F got up. I went back to sleep though! I got up at my usual time, went downstairs and came back up and watched the news. I snoozed a little bit but dragged myself off the bed and downstairs a bit later. I grabbed my breakfast and came back upstairs and ate it.
When I was up I watched a movie off the DVR followed by a TV programme from Saturday night. The movie was called Swallow and it was about a woman with pica. It was not the same old movie and I rather enjoyed it!
I got my lunch around 2 and came up and ate it. I debated with myself about watching an episode of The Walking Dead and then decided to watch it! It was the first episode of Season 8, and the war is beginning.
I watched the news at 4 pm and then tried to relax for a bit. F called me after 5:15 and said he was coming back. I went downstairs and started getting ready for dinner. Tonight I made a few things. We’d bought a stir-fry pack yesterday so I had to defrost some fish, then I made some kabocha-tuna miso salad, I washed the bagged lettuce for salad too. That’s about it really!
We had a good dinner and then F went off one way and K went and sat in her chair. I got to clear the table and do the dishes. Yay me. Still, a couple of podcasts kept my mind busy. Hurray. K came into the kitchen while I was working and asked me if I knew where the remote control for the TV was. I never use it, but I remembered that F had used it. I asked him if he knew where it was, but he didn’t. I looked around the living room a bit more and finally spied it under the kotatsu! K was quite pleased when I gave it to her. She was able to turn off the TV and go to bed!
I was downstairs until just after 9 pm. I went upstairs, relaxed a bit at my computer and then something nice happened. I had turned on my new fan but it was a bit noisy. F all of a sudden said that he didn’t like the noise and was going to fix it. And…he did! He turned it off and adjusted something and then turned it back on. No more noise. Woot. Good one F.
I took a shower after 10:30 pm and then came back upstairs. I watched The Good Wife and checked the TV recording schedule for tomorrow. That done, I turned off the TV and got stuck into my blogging. In case anyone is wondering why my page for “This day in my history” isn’t working, Angelfire is doing some work on their system and I can’t update my page to make it easy to read everything. Sigh. I am trying though.
Anyway, that is it for tonight. Tomorrow I have classes but I am teaching online. It’ll be my first time, so I’m a tad nervous and a tad excited!
