Tuesday - Rainy and humid
I woke up early this morning, around 5:30! I made a trip downstairs and then was surprised to see F waiting outside the door. I went back to bed and did hear F get up a bit later and then the next thing I heard was my alarm telling me it was time to wake up!
I got up, did my usual recline on the bed and watch the news thing, and then ended up snoozing a little. I dragged myself up around 10 today and then got a text from F saying that he was coming by the house to pick something up. He showed up a few minutes later. I had grabbed a small breakfast for myself and came upstairs to eat.
F did a flying visit, he’d forgotten to take something with him in the morning. One of the things was his wallet, so it was a good thing he came by.
A little later I had a small lunch and then changed my clothes. Today, I was teaching from here in the house! Yup, I did a couple of classes online. It was a bit nerve-wracking but actually turned out okay.
After classes were over, I changed and watched the news. F called a little bit after 5 pm to say he was on his way.
I went downstairs to get a start on dinner. I did quite well tonight I think. Tonight I made a mustard barbecue chicken, cucumber pickle, sautéed mushrooms and put out the rest of the kabocha and tuna salad. There was quite a bit of food…oh, I forgot to mention the salad that was there. I called F down and he finally came. K was there too. Well, tonight, most of the food disappeared and I’m not sure it was a good thing. K ate almost everything. F had two pieces of chicken, I had three and K had 4 pieces. She ate the last piece that I thought would be nice for her lunch the next day. She finished up the Kabocha and tuna salad too. I guess she was hungry, but she’s been doing this for a while so I’m wondering if she’s hungry or bored or?
I did the dishes but had a lovely surprise. F had prepared more food for himself and while he was in the kitchen, he washed the frypans for me. They were really bad today too as I had cooked the chicken in them. I listened to some podcasts again so the time went by quickly.
I went upstairs to get ready to go out. I changed my clothes and a bit later F came upstairs. We went off to MaxValu to get some groceries. I got something for K and me to have on Thursday night, and something for dinner tomorrow night. We went through the self-checkout tonight and F did okay for a change. Sometimes he just drives me nuts as he gives me all the light stuff first and then the heavy stuff to go on top of it all.
We popped into the drugstore across the way and then came back to the house. We just had a quiet night tonight. F went to bed a while ago and I’m still up and blogging.
Tomorrow I should plan my next classes and then I have to cook dinner again. Come back later if you will and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
