 Friday - Hot and Sunny and Humid

I woke up properly after F left. I had set my alarm and it came off and woke me up. I had a lazy morning until I finally got up. I got dressed and then took my laundry downstairs and washed a load. I brought my breakfast back upstairs and ate.

I had a fairly busy but quiet morning. I hung up my laundry and also folded up and put away the stuff that had been hanging up before. I did a bit of a clean-up in the corner of the room and I set up my desk and computer there. I put on some more work-appropriate clothing and then took part in an online meeting.  I will have to teach online in a couple of weeks so I wanted to practice.  It’s a bit difficult in all honesty!

I had lunch and watched a bit of The Walking Dead. It was a good episode, I’m getting near the end of Season 7. I’m so glad as Season 7 has been so hard to watch at times. 

F called around 5:30. He had a few things that he needed to do. I washed my dishes and then came back upstairs and got dressed. I changed clothes a few times and finally decided on a nice dress and a pair of leggings.

F finally got back. He’d had to run some errands, like picking up a bento for K. He got her a nice one, so that was good. F went to a bank machine and then on his way back he called a taxi for us!  That meant, when he got back, he only had a couple of minutes to get ready for going out!

The taxi arrived and off we went. Tonight, F and I went to the Grand El Sun to have their Italian Beer Hall. I liked it because I didn’t have to have the expensive all you can drink alcohol with it, I could have the all you can drink soft drinks. I enjoyed that. The food was good. We had an appetizer plate, plus salmon and orange carpaccio. There was a plate of mussels that I didn’t think I’d like, but I did. We had some risotto, and at the end, we had some grilled chicken and pork, then some grilled veggies. Everything was great. 

F suggested a few times that we walk to a restaurant on Showadori after our meal. He said it would take 5 minutes to walk there. I Google-mapped it and it would be 20 minutes in 30-degree humid weather. Umm. No! F drank a lot tonight and is quite inebriated. He’s very happy though. He got to drink quite a lot of different types of alcohol. He’s sleeping now. I hope he is still as happy in the morning!

We came back to the house by taxi and came upstairs. F went to bed soon after. I took a shower and then watched a bit of YouTube and finally some Apple TV. I’m quite enjoying the latter. 

And that was my day. Not sure what we’ll get up to tomorrow. A lot depends on how F feels!
