 Saturday - Hot and Sunny

I went to bed quite late last night, F had gone downstairs and I thought he was making ramen. However, when I went downstairs, he was trying to sleep there! He complained about the air conditioner again. Good lord. He hates the ac and how it dries him out, I hate the heat and how it makes me sweat. I think he should just live with it, but it is me that has to. Sigh.

He got up, made his mother something to eat, and then he decided to go to his doctor. I stayed in and spent time on my computer. I also got dressed, so that was good. 

When he came back we discussed where to go. He came up with some not-great suggestions…I had an upset stomach last night so I wanted to take things easy today. We finally decided on Arpeggio, so that’s where we went. 

We had a fairly good lunch. F had gindara (fish) and I had a bacon donburi. It was okay. After lunch, we talked about going for coffee, but we were both tired, so decided to go back to the house. We ended up taking naps until 5pm. 

At 5, F went out to get his mother a bento and then we went off to the Mikawa Mall. We bought our tickets and then bought some popcorn and drinks. F then toddled off to get himself some noodles and okonomiyaki from a nearby food court. 

He wolfed it down, and then we went into the theatre. 

We went to see F-9, or The Fast & Furious 9. It was crazy, but a lot of fun. I laughed a lot at the film. Don’t go into the film expecting something really intelligent. Check your brain at the door. 

We came back to Tsuruoka after the movie. I was a tad hungry even though I ate all of my popcorn and about a third of F’s!  We ended up going to Gusto and had an okay meal there. I liked mine more than F did, as usual. 

We came back to the house. F had a headache so basically just took to his bed. He’s still awake quite late on but has to get up tomorrow to get his second vaccination. I hope he can!

Anyway, that’s about it for me. No real plans for tomorrow, it depends how F feels I think.
