Tuesday -Sunny in the afternoon, clear but cold 

I woke up fairly early this morning, F was still in bed but playing with his computer. I went downstairs and then back to bed. I fell asleep and when I woke up the next time, F was gone.

I got up and watched the news from the bed. After that, I tried to watch something else but didn’t.  I finally got up, dressed and then watched some videos on YouTube.  I had an early lunch (I skipped breakfast) and then started to get ready for work. 

I got dressed and today the taxi came on time and I was ready for it today. Woot! Work was fine today and I enjoyed it, I think the students enjoyed it too!

I got back to the house around 5 pm. I took a few minutes to relax and watch the news. F called a little after 5:30 so I went downstairs and discovered what had been happening when I went in the kitchen. K had been cooking. She’d plugged the sink up, so I had to start by clearing out the drain. She’d boiled some spinach and left it on the table uncovered of course. 

I washed my dishes and then got started on dinner. F came back and was a bit of a supercilious twit as he showed me how to plate his mother’s spinach. I just wanted to put it on our regular plates but he got out mini plates and plated one. Of course, I had to do the rest. Thanks for the help dear. 

I cut up some veggies and got them ready to stir-fry. I got them in one of my pans and the pork slices in a frypan, so I could look after both at once.

Anyway, dinner was pretty good. K’s spinach was fine, my stir-fry was okay and so was the pork. We had a salad and F and K had rice with theirs too. I skipped it. 

After dinner, muggins here got to do the dishes while F sneaked off to the bedroom. It didn’t take that long happily and when I was done I went upstairs. 

F and I went out after a few minutes. I wanted us to get some kerosene tonight too. I had to refill my heater’s tank today but there wasn’t very much in our stores. 

We went to the grocery store first. As usual, there wasn’t much left on the shelf. I was rather annoyed as I dislike going to this shop late at night. I found some chicken drumsticks and then grabbed some frozen shrimp so I am going to try and do something with that in a couple of days. 

We came back to the house after hitting up the gas station for the kerosene. I put the groceries away while F brought in the fuel. After that, we went upstairs and relaxed for a bit.

Tonight I found my crochet so did a little bit while I watched Prodigal Son. It’s not really a crochet show!

And that’s about it for me. I’ve watched far too much YouTube and I need to try and get to bed before too long. I’m quite tired today.
