Friday - Clear and sunny

My alarm went off this morning at almost the same exact time as the backhoe next door started working. Oh yay! The house shook most of the day. Ack.

I had a quiet morning, I watched the news and dozed a little. I went downstairs around 10 and did a load of laundry. I hung it up and had a fairly quiet morning. I watched a bit of TV too. My cable channel was showing a lot of the DC movies today, so I watched bits and pieces of all of them. That was fun. 

I went down and grabbed my lunch, brought it upstairs and ate. I watched another episode of The Walking Dead, it was a bit odd. Lots of people died, but they weren’t good people mostly….Does that make it okay?

I watched the news and then folded some laundry. I put the laundry away and then F called. I went downstairs a little later and got ready to start working on dinner. F came back quite soon after I went downstairs and I told him I could have dinner ready soon. I did!

Tonight I cooked some spaghetti, heated up the soup, plated some salad and heated up some of the leftovers that were in the fridge. I got dinner on the table before 7 pm which was good I guess?!

Dinner was quite good. We finished up the soup, the salad, and there was just a little bit of pasta leftover. Oh, I forgot, we had some sliced tongue with it and that was a nice change too.

I did the dishes and listened to a couple of podcasts one of which was really funny.  K popped her head in to say goodnight. She went to bed at 7:30 pm. I have no idea why. 

When I finished I told F that I was done and I headed upstairs. He was still watching TV in the living room. He came upstairs a little later and I made him take a quiz! I had made a quiz for my students for the next lesson and I wanted to try it out on him. He did quite well and he hadn’t just studied the vocabulary, so I think it’ll be okay. 

We just relaxed for a while and enjoyed our own favourite YouTube videos. I took a shower around 11 and then came back upstairs. F was already asleep when I got here. 

And that’s about it, to be honest. I have plans to get out of the house this weekend, I just hope that F is feeling well enough to do stuff with me. There are three movies in English at the cinema that I haven’t seen yet, including the latest Bond film, so we might see something. Fingers crossed that is!
