Monday - Sunny but a bit cool
I woke up with my alarm this morning. F had already left for work. I had a hard time getting up but did eventually. I came back and watched the rest of the news, did a little reading and eventually got myself roused up. I did a load of laundry, I washed all the clothes I wore when I went fishing. Some of them were used to wipe the shrimp gunk off my hands, so I really didn’t want to leave them too much longer!
I hung them up and had my breakfast too. I didn’t see much of K today. I didn’t mind that much!
In the afternoon I didn’t feel that well. I tried to take a little nap but didn’t really fall asleep. I did feel a bit better afterwards though.
I had lunch and then came back upstairs and watched the early morning news. F Facetimed me so that was nice too.
I went downstairs to get a start on dinner around 6 pm. Tonight I was making pancakes and it was an easy one. Yay. I made up the mix, put the salad out in bowls and started heating up the sausages.
When F got back he said he’d like dinner soon, so I started making pancakes. I had a couple ready so I gave them to K but she didn’t sit at the table. Honestly, I was rather annoyed!
Anyway, the thing I dislike about me making pancakes is that I’m in the kitchen, they’re in the living room eating. No one thinks to come to the kitchen and take over from me so I can eat. Of course, if F found the place he put our little griddle, I could use that and be in the living room with everyone. But, nope!
I did the dishes, they didn’t take too long tonight. I listened to a couple of podcasts. Yay me.
I went upstairs when I finished and then F came up a bit later. I was watching some YouTube when F started asking me about politics in Canada. We had quite a nice little discussion when I told him quite a lot about our political system and how people vote.
I took a shower and then came back and watched The Good Wife. I did some sewing on F’s scarf too. I got about half of it done. I hope to finish it soon.
I watched a bit of YouTube tonight and started blogging. And that’s about what I’m doing now.
Tomorrow I am off to work in the afternoon, then I get to cook dinner afterwards. However, Wednesday is a national holiday and F is off on Thursday, so I hopefully won’t have to do any cooking for a couple of days. Fingers crossed!

Just a suggestion about pancakes.... Do you have a toaster oven or microwave that you can set on warm??? When I make pancakes for french toast for several, I'll cook and then keep warm until all are finshed. I realize in Japan ovens are not the normal. Maybe use your fish draw on low to keep a stack of pancakes warm.

I do have a toaster oven, funny thing is I did that last time I made pancakes! I really should have tried that this time too. I think I just needed a bit of a whine!!
I don't think my microwave would work for it though, but the toaster oven does, but it is quite small inside.
