Saturday - Clear and sunny, cool

I slept in very late this morning, but I didn’t care. We had no plans so what was I supposed to do? Get up and be bored? Not happening.

After a bit, F and I decided to go out for lunch. He suggested one place that I don’t like, but I said I’d go. The food is okay there, I just don’t like the restaurant.  He changed his mind a few minutes later so we went to a restaurant I like more.  We both had Japanese food for lunch. I had chicken cutlet ju (box) and F had pork cutlet ju too. 

When we finished lunch we ran an errand and then went shopping. We went to Yamaya and to Gyomu Supa.  At the latter, I was thrilled to see and buy some English cheese. Amazing! That’ll be saved for Christmas, most likely. I picked up a couple of packs of tortillas too.

Because the tortillas were frozen we had to bring them back to the house right away. We spent a bit of time at the house too. F made his mother some dinner, and then we left for the mall.  At the mall, we took care of some business first. We took a pair of my work pants to the tailor shop. I noticed two days ago that there were holes in the side seam of the pants. I think that whoever sewed the pants didn’t know what they were doing. The pants aren’t tight, it was a badly sewn seam. I could have tried to fix them myself, but I really didn’t want to do it by hand. I can pick them up next Saturday.

F and I talked about dinner. First we bought our movie tickets and discovered that we could get in to see the movie tonight for free. Yay! We had seen enough to get electronic coupons to get a free movie. Woot.

We decided to eat in separate restaurants tonight. F wanted ramen and I had pasta. I had one of their specials. It was bacon and mushroom pasta with a soy sauce. I liked it a lot. 

After dinner, F was done before me of course. I wanted to go into the hundred yen shop and did. I got a few things for the Christmas craft I’m going to make soon. 

Then, we went upstairs, bought our drinks, and then went to see Eternals. I liked it, but it wasn’t as fabulous as I hoped it would be. Overall, I’m glad that I saw it, but not sure if I’d go and see it again or not!

We came back to the house after the movie and chilled for a bit. I watched the early morning news and then discovered that Batman Returns was on so I watched the rest of it. 

And that was my day. We don’t really have any plans for tomorrow so I hope that the day goes well. Come back later if you like and hear all about my day.  Until tomorrow….
